If you have done everything correctly up to this point, the doors should lock and the unlock to inform you that the programming mode has been entered. Once in this mode, do the next step quickly, as the car will exit programming mode if nothing is done for about a minute. Press and hold down the lock button on the driver’s side door while simultaneously pressing the unlock button on the car remote.

Make sure that you do not turn on the transmission during this sequence, as you only want to turn on the car.
If you have done this step correctly, the car doors will lock and unlock to show that it has entered programming mode. Once you are in programming mode, press any button on the key fob within 20 seconds. This will sync the new key fob with the vehicle. If it has successfully synced, the doors will lock to confirm that the programming is done.
Unlock the vehicle with the fob to make sure that it works. You can continue to program key fobs for 20 seconds after each round of programming is completed. You do not have to do anything to exit the programming mode, as the car will automatically do so after 20 seconds of inaction.
