Allis Chalmers 1965 Manual
Figured I'd start a post about the little purchase Dad made today! A H3 Allis Chalmers dozer.
Serial #8231 making it a 1965. That makes it a 'new' piece of equipment by our standards, LOL! Dad and Grandpa hauled it home today. I miss out on all the fun. It runs and drives, but needs a lot of TLC things. Dad will start with all the basics, change all the oils and filters, new plugs, wires, cap, etc. Needs some wiring help as sometimes one must jiggle the wires to get it to run.
We'll just tackle one little thing at a time like any other project! If anyone has a parts machine of these, let me know as we will be needing a few things. The plan is to get it all running and functioning reliably to use it to push show this winter if at all possible before the weather turns bad.

We shall see. Should be an improvement on using the back blade on the D15. Being a gas model it should be more handy to use than the HD5 he also has which never gets used because it is too big and much of a hassle to fire up to use for a few minutes.

Especially in the winter. But this will be like his D15 series II tractor (which it is based off) with so many similarities. And it is small enough to haul around ourselves if the need arises Who else has one of these? I'm sure I'll have a ton of questions for you all!
