On most older motorcycles a major adjustment was made by loosening the two headlight bucket mounting bolts on the side and tilting the whole bucket upward to change the angle. Side to side was done by turning a long screw. On your model the headlight bucket is solidly held on by two long bolts on the bottom of the head light. There is one adjustment screw on the front of the head light bucket. There also appears to be an adjustment screw inside the headlight bucket that is only accessible if you pull the headlight out of the bucket.

Remove the headlight from the bucket by removing the two holder screws and use the inner screw to raise the angle of the head light. You may have to do this more than once to get it right. The pieces may have come loose and are sitting in the bottom of the bucket.

The adjustment screws both have springs on them and are part #'s 4 and 5 on this diagram. Answered on Jun 15, 2011.
